Speed date with Charles Leclerc: "This way of overtaking is more challenging"

Always wanted to have a speed date with Charles Leclerc? Ferrari has published a video on their Twitter channel in which he answers questions about himself in two minutes. Unfortunately a one-sided speed date, but is nice if you want to get to know the driver a bit better.

When asked how he would describe himself in three words, he replies, "Monegasque, fast and crazy." After a moment's thought, he adds, "Sometimes." And driving a Formula One car in three words? "Fast, thrilling and amazing," says Leclerc.

What is his favourite circuit on the current Formula One calendar? "Monaco," says Leclerc, something that as a native Monegasque may come as little surprise. He also indicates whether he prefers inside or outside overtaking. "Outside," says Leclerc. "Because it's more challenging."

Not all questions are about him as a driver. For example, it appears that he is currently listening to a lot of piano music because he is learning to play the piano, something he showed off regularly on online streams during the 2020 lockdown. In addition, Leclerc appears to be a true Harry Potter fan: his favourite movie quote is "Expecto Patronum".
