Schumacher: "I certainly still use some tips from my father"

Mick Schumacher looks likely to make his Formula 1 debut with Haas in 2021. The son of the seven-time world champion, Michael Schumacher, explains that he still benefits from some of his father's tips.

Mick Schumacher is about to win the Formula 2 title. The championship can still go in all directions, but with a clear lead over second place, Schumacher has it in his own hands. Earlier he said he traveled to Bahrain with a good feeling and explained how he still takes some of his father's tips.

"I certainly still use some tips from my father, even tips from when I was still karting. But it's a completely different time, because the Formula 2 cars I drive are over 700 kilos, where my father's only weighed 500 kilos," said Schumacher Jr in conversation with the German RTL.
