Schumacher still hasn't been to England with his team

Mick Schumacher's preparations for his first Formula One season are going anything but smoothly. Currently, the 2020 Formula 2 champion is unable to travel to the UK to work with the team.

"Thanks to the COVID situation I can't do much except train. My physical preparations are going quite well and I feel I am ready," Schumacher said in an interview with Sky Sport Germany.

"Unfortunately I have not yet been able to travel to England to join the team," the son of Michael Schumacher continued. Normally, Schumacher would travel to the factory regularly, but due to the country's strict coronavirus measures, he has not had the opportunity yet.

Through Zoom, Schumacher has been in contact with the Haas F1 Team, which has allowed them to continue working. "I hope that in the coming days there will be an opportunity to get there," the German concluded. His team has previously revealed that the new Ferrari engine cannot be started for the winter tests in Bahrain.
