Many people were quite shocked when a few days ago a picture appeared online showing Carlos Sainz's upper leg wrapped with tape. In the annual charity race, which included Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly, Sainz had to come to the side for treatment to his upper leg. The Spaniard is angry at the coverage that has appeared.
The Ferrari driver took part in a charity football match at AS Monaco's stadium on Tuesday night. At one point, he was photographed being treated on his leg, leading some to claim he had suffered an injury.

Sainz denounces reporting

The Ferrari driver previously indicated in a statement on Instagram that everything was fine with him and nothing was wrong. Now Sainz has also slammed the coverage. " I don't know if it's social media these days or just people trying to get a bit of clickbait," he told Racefans.
The Ferrari driver said he is increasingly encountering unverified stories about himself. "It’s recently a bit more with social media, TikTok," he said.
