All drivers are on edge again this weekend, so is George Russell. At the press conference, he looks ahead to the Baku Grand Prix. Mercedes is expected to compete again with Aston Martin and Ferrari. Russell says he expects a lot from Ferrari in Baku.
The Briton, who scored 18 points in the world championship this season, says Ferrari can score well in Azerbaijan. "Ferrari have historically been pretty quick here. So they normally have a bit of a trick up their sleeve when it comes to that soft tyre. So they might be a little bit more competitive than we've seen in recent races," the Briton told Sky Sports at the press conference.
The 25-year-old driver says he is not so sure what to expect in Baku. The circuit has been resurfaced in half the corners. "That is unfamiliar territory though, so again, that's another unknown, but it's the same for everyone. So we'll go in with an open mind and try and maximise it. The track's going to be dirty in practice, which makes it quite irrelevant," Russell said.
