Answering the crucial question, the Mercedes driver commented:"He paid a high price for his actions and I benefitted from it. So, I almost owe him a thank you. But it's good to see him taking responsibility, which somewhat surprised me," said Russell.
"I think he tried to push me off the road, but I don't believe he intended to collide with me. I think he just miscalculated."
