Formula 1 driver George Russell has received a new car from Mercedes. On social media, the Englishman showed off his brand-new toy.
“MY DREAM CAR!!!” the Mercedes driver wrote in all caps. “So honoured to own this car and it's been a dream of mine ever since I joined Mercedes F1 back in 2017! Crazy that the engine is a modified version from our 2015 F1 car – the first ever Mercedes F1 car I drove. What a beast!” Russell said in a post on X.

What makes the AMG ONE so special?

The Mercedes AMG ONE is a hypercar limited to just 275 units and costs £2.8 million to buy from the manufacturer. The model uses essentially a detuned Formula 1 engine to power it. It has over 1,000 brake horsepower and gets to 60 mph in under three seconds.
Under his post, several photos of the Englishman’s new car could be seen from different angles. One of them showed a DRS button, and the license plate clearly referenced the driver.
