Max Verstappen has set many records in Formula 1 history. Which is why many people consider him one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers of all time. While he is still racing, Nico Rosberg thinks his successor is already in Formula 1.
Arvid Lindblad has often been hailed as the next Verstappen. Speaking to GPBlog, he answered the question of where they were similar and different. He said, "It's hard to really compare. I mean, I'm still a lot younger than Max. It's nice to get a comparison to a four-time world champion, but I mean, I think it's hard to really compare us."
On the other side, in the Sky Sports F1 podcast, Nico Rosberg said he sees another driver who could be the next Verstappen - and it's not Linblad.

Kimi Antonelli is a unique talent of his generation

At just 18 years old, Kimi Antonelli achieved his first podium during the Canadian Grand Prix. Rosberg, who has known the Italian for some time, believes that he could come close to Verstappen.

Roseberg said, "Kimi drove in my go-karting team, so I know what kind of a generational talent he is. He can be of the level of Verstappen and Hamilton, because that was his speed in go-karting and so it was lovely to see him. It's also because, for a young driver, mentally, it's so important to achieve these milestones, that, you can see, wow, yes, I can do it, I can be on the podium in F1."
"Especially after a couple of difficult weekends. He had really rough three weekends in a row before that, so that was awesome. He's still missing a little bit in qualifying. His race pace seemed to be really strong also on Sunday because he was always there, always really on it, really close to max."
