Lando Norris won the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix, and held aloft a trophy co-designed by singer Robbie Williams on the podium. The trophy seemed rather random and unique from afar, containing squiggles, speech bubbles and words. But it turns out there is touching gesture behind the design.
The trophies were co-designed designed by Robbie Williams and Marcel van Luit. The trophy is characterised by the Dutch lion, which has been given a prominent place at the front of the trophy. The design is similar to that of the first and third years.

On his Instagram feed, the Angles singer has a weekly segment called 'who arted' where random members of the public are selected by himself. Williams shares images of the persons art on his page. But this week, there was a twist to the segment as the person was the entertainer himself.
"I designed the Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix podium trophies. I’m proud and very grateful for the oppourtuniy. My idea was to write all the things I could think of that the drivers would have had to sacrifice to achieve greatness. In their moment of success, I also wanted them to give themselves a pat on the back for enduring," Williams said.

The photos on Instagram showcase some of the examples. These included: "sacrificing holidays and special occasions", "early morning and late night training sessions" and "high levels of stress".
The 'Karma Killer' singer opened an art exhibiton in Amsterdam earlier in the year. His biopic film 'Better Man' is set for release in early 2025.
