Since switching from Red Bull for Renault it hasn't been plain sailing for Daniel Ricciardo and the Australian has admitted his results aren't what he would like them to be.
Renault have struggled in general this season and it has rubbed off on Ricciardo's results as he suffered two DNFs at the opening two races before finally scoring a P7 in China. He got his second points of the season in Monaco but only managed P9 after winning the race in the principality last season.
The former Red Bull driver is pleased with the buzz around the team but was frank when it came to his results.
"In terms of results I'm not exactly where I'd like to be, but the atmosphere and the energy in the team are excellent," Ricciardo told L'Equipe.
"The results are a little disappointing at the moment but we are still in the building phase.

"I'm confident that the results will start coming before the end of the season."
Ricciardo will be hoping to build on his P9 at the Monaco Grand Prix when the season moves to Canada. He won back in 2014 but could only manage sixth last season.
