Daniel Ricciardo finally took the Monaco Grand Prix after the heartbreaking defeat he suffered in 2016, which made the victory for the Aussie even sweeter, he said after the race.
David Coulthard immediately shoved a mic in his face after he climbed out of his winning RB14, and he had the following to say.
"It took two years, but I think I finally got what I deserved," he said with a big smile.
"I don't know how much you guys could hear from the radio and if you could hear we had problems, but we had a loss of power and I could only use six gears.
"I had big doubts during the race, but it feels so good to win the race after all."
