Racing Bulls driver is the latest graduate from the Red Bull Junior Team to Formula 1. Lindblad explained that he owes a lot to the team's former top advisor, Helmut Marko,
for getting this opportunity.
Another factor he believes helped him improve was the quality of the junior series in the UK. He is one of five British drivers on the grid at the moment alongside Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, George Russell and Oliver Bearman. Alex Albon is also half-British, but he competes under the Thai flag.

What advantage do British drivers have?
Speaking to Sky Sports, Lindblad said: "It's a massive testament to the UK. There's no mystery about it. There is a reason why there's five Brits on the grid, and it's because the level of karting, especially in the junior series, is incredibly high."
He concluded: "I'm proud to be British, it’s a big reason why I've made it, because of the level."
