Laurent Mekies, the team principal of Red Bull Racing, has hailed the design team behind the RB22 as the team unveiled its 2026 challenger.
GPblog was in Detroit, where Mekies was speaking alongside
Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar as the team gave the world the first glimpse of its new
F1 car.
Mekies, who replaced Christian Horner as team boss midway through last season, hopes the RB22 will return the team to the top of the standings amid a range of
new regulations.
He said:
