Rebuilding of Circuit de Barcelona progresses well

In just over a month we will see the new Formula 1 cars in action for the first time. On February 23-25 the first test days are planned in Barcelona. By that time the Circuit de Catalunya will have received a major upgrade.

Updates are being given on Twitter about the progress of the renovation. It all seems to be going very well. On Monday the circuit gave a new update, this time about the paddock. The paddock is getting a big update and the foundation has been poured. Besides the paddock, turn four will also be updated. Here the wall will be placed further back.

The Spanish Grand Prix has been held at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona since 1991 and the contract was recently extended until 2026. Part of this new agreement is the adaptation of the facilities around the circuit, which is now being worked on.
