After taking the lead after the actual start, Oscar Piastri finished second during the Miami Sprint. The Australian driver acknowledged he did not have the best of luck today. "I did pretty much everything right. A bit disappointed to come away with second but that's how it goes sometimes. Racing is a pretty cruel business," the Australian said after getting out of his car.
Piastri was leading, until Fernando Alonso's car ended up in the wall. As a result, his teammate,
Lando Norris jumped him in the pit lane.
"Hopefully that means I get a bit of luck this afternoon in qualifying and tomorrow."This is not the first time Norris managed to win after a Safety Car came out in Miami, as it happened the previous season during the Grand Prix as well. "Two years running, huh?" Piastri commented over the team radio as well.
About the start where he had a battle with Kimi Antonelli, he commented: "Another great start and I had to get my elbows out in that one. Happy with what I did."
