Racing Bulls F1 team have released a statement after a video appeared to show a team member encourage booing towards Lando Norris on the Brazil GP podium.
The video circulated around social media showed a Racing Bulls employee turn to the crowd and repeatedly give a thumbs-down gesture as Norris accepted his victory trophy on the Brazil GP podium.
The team member, dressed clearly in Racing Bulls team attire, is seen filming themselves on their phone as they made the gesture. The employee in question then turned to their colleague and laughed, all while fans booed Norris on the podium.

Racing Bulls statement

Fans had seen the video circulate on social media and it appeared that Racing Bulls had been alerted to the video.
In a statement issued on X, Racing Bulls said: "We’re aware of the video from the weekend’s podium. It doesn’t reflect our team’s values or the spirit of VCARB. The matter has been handled internally. We believe in celebrating great racing and showing respect to every driver, team, and fan both on and off the track."
