Technical problem for Russell: 'Button for Brake Magic doesn't work'

George Russell may have a tough task ahead of the race. The Briton has complained over the board radio about a problem with his W14.

The Mercedes driver is having an unhappy weekend so far. On Saturday, Russell qualified eighth, but getting in Charles Leclerc's way during a qualifying lap forced him to start 11th during the sprint race. During the sprint race, the Briton was able to make up some places and finish eighth. This earned him one point.

Just before the main race, there seemed to be a problem with the Mercedes driver's car. Over the on-board radio, Russell says: "I've lost the button on the back of my steering wheel for brake magic," to which his engineer responds: "Copy that, we'll see what we can do for you on the grid."
