Pirelli motorsport boss Mario Isola has responded to criticism over the Italian manufacturer's tyre construction for the 2019 season.
The majority of teams have struggled so far this season to operate the tyres effectively, particularly getting the tyres to stay in the optimum operating window.
After complaints from team bosses and fans alike, Isola addressed concerns and said the manufacturer was exploring options at improving the tyres for next season and beyond.
"Obviously I take any comments coming from the teams on board," he told Auto Bild.
"Whether the window is narrower or not, they are asking for a wider working range. What is clear is that we have to work in the future to have a wider working range.

"Obviously we are designing new tyres for 2020, and also for 2021 considering the plan to remove blankets. So we are changing the approach in how we design the compounds.
"We will evaluate if we want to introduce something new for 2020 to test, also for 2021.”
Red Bull motorsport advisor Dr Helmut Marko has been very vocal in his criticism of the Pirelli compounds, saying that they are "tailor-made for Mercedes".
