Former F1 champion Alan Jones has yet again reaffirmed his belief that Oscar Piastri will prevail over Lando Norris in the world championship fight as the Brit has a critical weakness.
Jones believes Piastri has everything he needs to succeed in F1. In fact, he argued that wherever Piastri went, no matter what his fellow Australian did, success would simply follow him.
"He has all the qualities that I think you need to be super successful in Formula 1," Jones said in an interview with RTL/ntv and sport.de.
"[Some people] no matter what they do, they're successful. And he is one of those people. He was successful in Formula 3, he was successful in Formula 2 and now he leads the world championship."

Jones takes savage dig at Norris

According to the Australian former F1 champion, some drivers, i.e. Norris, simply don’t enjoy themselves as much inside the cockpit of an F1 car.
"There are some drivers out there who enjoy their time out of the cockpit more than their time in the cockpit."
But with Piastri, it is different.
"With him, you know: He's on task, he has a goal. And he will do whatever it takes to achieve it.
"He will do whatever it takes to win a race. That's what you have to do," concluded the former F1 champion.
