The 2022 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix is a painful memory for Sergio Perez. The Mexican hopes to repeat his Saturday from last year this weekend and get revenge on Sunday and take victory at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
In 2022, the Red Bull Racing driver took pole in Saudi Arabia, but failed to convert this strong Saturday into a win on Sunday. Instead, his teammate Max Verstappen won after an intense and exciting battle with his rival Charles Leclerc.

Perez hopes it will be his turn in Saudi Arabia

In a press statement, Checo looks ahead and said he wants more: "We have to try and keep the momentum going from Bahrain. There are definitely a lot of improvements we can still do, to try and make our car better." Perez , like his teammate, is not so sure about Red Bull's dominance in Saudi Arabia. The track is very different from the one in Bahrain and the Mexican is especially curious to see who they will be up against this weekend.
Perez concludes: "I am looking forward to going back to this circuit after getting pole in 2022. I was very unlucky last year with the timing of the safety car while leading the race so hopefully it can be my turn to win."
