- Sergio PerezThe Mexican is set to embark on his fifteenth season in
Formula 1, returning to the pinnacle of the sport after a year away from the grid following his departure from Red Bull at the end of 2024 and a 2025 campaign spent on the sidelines.

Perez looks back at the race that could have rewritten his Red Bull chapter
The first half of the 2024 season proved a frustrating one for the Mexican, marked by a string of underwhelming results. In Baku, however, he appeared to rediscover his edge, returning to the sharp end of the field and putting himself in contention for victory in a late-race battle with the two Ferraris and Oscar Piastri.
That resurgence was ultimately short-lived, as a collision with Carlos Sainz in the closing laps abruptly ended his challenge. From the following race onwards, he once again struggled to unlock the potential of the RB20.
