Audi shares first glimpse of 2026 challenger

The Audi Formula 1 outfit has shared clearer snapshots of its 2026 challenger from its testing at the Barcelona circuit.
The German outfit, which enters F1 in 2026 replacing the Sauber team, took to the circuit in Montmelo for the maiden shakedown of its RS26 car.
Nico Hulkenberg was the first to hit the Barcelona track with the new car, before teammate Gabriel Bortoleto also had his run at the iconic circuit.

The on-track testing by the Audi outfit, which is the first of any team in the 2026 campaign, follows shortly after its announcement of its first engine fire-up in December.

Hadjar race engineer confirmed

While the F1 world continues to digest footage of Audi’s testing in Barcelona, Isack Hadjar’s race engineer for his debut at Red Bull Racing appears set in stone.
The young French driver is set to have Richard Wood as his race engineer for his first season alongside Max Verstappen.
Woody, who has served as race engineer for Sergio Perez on occasion, also worked throughout the recent campaign as race engineer for both Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda.

Hadjar, who impressed in his rookie F1 season, finished on the podium with the Red Bull Racing outfit at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort.
