Ten days of self isolation for Perez; Misses also second British GP

Remarkable news Thursday evening prior to the British GP at Silverstone. Sergio Perez of Racing Point is not allowed to participate in the F1 weekend because he tested positive for the coronavirus. A heavy disappointment for driver and team. Especially now it's clear that Perez also has to miss the second GP at Silverstone.
F1 journalist Chris Medland, for example, notes that the mandatory self-isolation period for people infected with corona in the United Kingdom has recently been tightened by the government. So instead of seven days Perez has to go through ten days without contact. A big disadvantage for him and the team since we are in the middle of a triple-header.
It could have been even worse. If the mandatory two weeks were used as is often advised in the Netherlands, it would have been questionable whether Perez would have been allowed to travel to Spain after the second race in England. This still remains an unknown fact though.
