The race weekend in Hungary will be challenging because of the weather. During the first practice sessions on Friday it was very hot, but for tomorrow storms and rain are predicted. In the paddock people are talking about a possible qualifying session on Sunday.
The drivers have already noticed on Friday that the practice sessions were a bit strange. George Russell said the team was struggling with the build-up to the weekend, as different weather conditions apply each day. Max Verstappen called Friday's practice sessions treacherous. With heavy rain predicted tomorrow, there is also the fear that qualifying will be cancelled or postponed on Saturday.

Saturday qualifying under threat due to rain?

Alfa Romeo engineer Beat Zehnder told German Sky: "It is possible that we will not be able to qualify tomorrow and that we will have to postpone it until Sunday morning if the weather forecast remains as it is now."
Race director of tyre supplier Pirelli, Mario Isola, seems to be assuming that qualifying will definitely be postponed. The Italian said he had spoken to Meteo France: "There is an eighty per cent chance of rain as early as tomorrow morning. I hope qualifying will not be delayed too much, but there is a lot of rain coming."
