Ocon receives time penalty for collision with Hamilton in pit lane

Esteban Ocon has received a five-second penalty for the incident with Lewis Hamilton in the pit lane. The two drivers collided after a chaotic moment during the pit stops.

After eighteen laps, many drivers entered the pit lane at once to change from the intermediates to the medium tires. Ocon managed to push just in front of Hamilton's Mercedes, but it was not without a touch.

The Frenchman received a five-second time penalty from the stewards for the incident. Hamilton, meanwhile, is driving in P14, while Ocon is in 11th place. Max Verstappen is still in the lead, while Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc are fighting for the second spot.
