Not all drivers agree with Hamilton's opinion about the Brazilian Grand Prix

Over the last 12 months, talks have surfaced about moving the Brazilian Grand Prix to Rio de Janeiro. Plans are already being created for a new circuit, but a lot of Formula 1 drivers wish to remain at the current location. Lewis Hamilton says it'll be a pity to move.

Hamilton, who won his first F1 world championship at the venue in 2008, stressed his wishes to keep racing on the same circuit in Brazil. The drivers at the press conference earlier today added their thoughts to the situation.

"This is an iconic circuit where legendary races have taken place," says Valtteri Bottas. "At least there will still be a race in Brazil, but it would be a shame to lose Interlagos."

"Modern circuits are too perfect and this circuit is still satisfactory," adds Robert Kubica. Also, Romain Grosjean called Interlagos one of his favourite tracks and would be sorry to leave here, but as long as there is a race in Brazil, he is satisfied.

However, not all drivers were on the same page. Daniel Ricciardo and Sergio Perez wouldn't mind a change of location.

"I always look forward to going to a new location. So I am quite open to it. It can be a good place for Formula 1," says the Racing Point driver.
