Lando Norris is starting on pole position in Monaco for the first time. During the drivers parade, he refelcted on the feeling ahead of the race.
About racing and being in Monaco, Norris said, "Everything is special here in Monaco. It's a nice feeling."

Norris hopes for a good outcome

"It's my first one in my career. But to do it in Formula 1 is a lot more special again. Yesterday was a very good day, but it's part one and today is part two."
When asked about how exhausting the race could be, Norris replied, "It depends how much you push and with the new rules, it probably means you have to push a little bit more than in previous years."
He continued, "It'll be a good race for the people watching. I think there'll be more chaos. It will probably make our lives a little bit more stressful, but it's the way it is. So I'm excited for today."
While it is Charles Leclerc's home race Norris said, "I live here and I drive on these every week, I drive on these streets and on these roads, so it feels a little bit like a home race."
"But it doesn't matter where it is, in the end, I'm happy. The atmosphere is always great, a lot of people, a lot of friends, a lot of family, a lot of partners and sponsors as well. So it's good fun."
