Norris isn't too excited to be making his F1 at Paul Ricard: "It's an okay track"

Lando Norris will compete in his third race at Paul Ricard on Sunday, but it'll be the first time in a Formula 1 car. Judging by his reaction, the circuit isn't one of his favourites on the calendar.
The British driver was forced to retire from the Canadian Grand Prix after a fire caused his rear suspension to melt and drop off. His McLaren team will be desperate to get one back on their rivals Renault this weekend, but Norris isn't excited by the Paul Ricard circuit.
"The weather is nice here at the moment, but it is not the circuit where overtaking is the easiest. That is a pity. It is also not a great circuit when it comes to driving. It is an okay track," Norris is quoted by GPtoday.net.
12 months ago, the chicane in the middle of the back straight caused some debate. Some drivers, teams, fans and pundits suggested removing the chicane to increase the amount of speed at the tighter corner which follows. Norris doesn't agree with this argument.
"Up until now, I have always raced on the configuration that we will use this weekend. I also think that without the chicane it would be full of gas on the straight. On the one hand, it would very be cool, but I also think it makes the [overtaking] situation even more difficult," he added.
