Norris: "It gives you a completely different perspective"

With Carlos Sainz's switch to Ferrari, the 'bromance' between him and Lando Norris comes to an end. However, it is likely that between Norris and Daniel Ricciardo it will be just as cozy. But how will things work out professionally with the new teammates?

In any case, Lando Norris is happy with the new feedback Ricciardo will bring with him.

"It gives you a completely different perspective. Some of the feedback will be similar to Carlos's, because he also drove for Renault. A lot of what Carlos talked about went back to his time at Renault," Norris said in conversation with Motorsport-Total.com.

Ricciardo spent a long time at Red Bulll Racing and won races there, something Norris thinks McLaren can benefit from. "A lot of knowledge that drivers have is based on their cooperation with other teams," he said.

"Daniel has worked with Red Bull for a bit longer. He knows how to win races and what car he needs to do that. I think Carlos has less of that. It's good to bring in new ideas and help the team develop further," Norris said.
