Martin Brundle was blown away by Lando Norris' final lap in qualifying at the Sao Paulo GP.
"That was a champion's lap. He got it done."

After winning the F1 Sprint in Brazil, Norris managed to secure pole position for Sunday's Grand Prix as well.
On his first attempt, the championship leader made a mistake locking up into Turn 1, which meant he began his final attempt being in P10. He then put together a stunning lap to claim pole position, finishing 0.174 seconds ahead of second-placed Kimi Antonelli.
The lap also left a strong impression on former F1 driver and Sky Sports pundit Martin Brundle. He said, on air: "That was a champion's lap. He got it done.
"That was a lot of pressure as otherwise, had it gone wrong, it was P10 on the grid."
Norris' teammate, Oscar Piastri, will also start from the second row of the grid, just as he did in Saturday’s Sprint.
Brundle added: "That's bad news for Piastri being fourth, putting him on the inside of the grid for the start."

Norris gains on Saturday

The Briton was able to already extend his lead in the standings after his Sprint victory at Interlagos, where he finished three places ahead of Verstappen, and Piastri crashed out.
As a result, he is now ahead of his teammate by nine points and the Dutchman by 39 points in the standings. The latter only qualified for Sunday’s Grand Prix in P16, after being eliminated in Q1.
