Ferrari is having a disappointing start to the season. The Italian team scored only 26 points in the three races so far. To Baku, Ferrari will not yet bring any new upgrades, according to Corriere della Sera.
Charles Leclerc is having the most disappointing start of the two Ferrari drivers. The Monegasque only managed to finish one race in 2023, putting him on just six points. According to the Italian medium, both drivers have spent a huge amount of time in the simulator, with sessions of four to five hours a day.

No updates

The speed of the SF-23 is not as good as hoped. In qualifying, Ferrari is still reasonably close behind the dominant Red Bull Racing, but on Sunday the gap is suddenly much bigger. The Ferrari seems to have a big disadvantage especially in terms of tyre wear compared to the RB19.
Despite the huge gap, no updates will be introduced yet in Baku for the SF-23 to close the gap to Red Bull. "In Baku there will be no time for experimentation, the car will have wings for this specific type of track, but there are only parts on the car whose effectiveness is absolutely certain," reported the Italian source.
