This driver will replace Vettel as new GDPA Director

The Grand Prix Drivers Association (GPDA) has a new director. Sebastian Vettel has stepped away from the role, causing the association to search for a replacement. Carlos Sainz will join the team to work alongside George Russell.
Carlos Sainz is the new addition to the GPDA. The Spanish driver will join George Russell and Anastasia Fowle as Director of the drivers' association. Former F1 driver Alex Wurz will remain the Chairman.
The GDPA consists of three directors and with the retirement of Sebastian Vettel, a new director was needed. Carlos Sainz is very happy with his new role.
The GDPA shared this statement about the news, "The GDPA welcomes Carlos Sainz as Director. Stepping into the role vacated by Sebastian Vettel, Sainz becomes a Director of the Grand Prix Drivers Association alongside George Russell, Anastasia Fowle, and Chairman, Alex Quiz. #RacingUnited for our Safety, our Sport, our Fans."
Carlos Sainz shared this statement about the news, “I am passionate about my sport and think we drivers have a responsibility to do all we can to work with the stakeholders to forward the sport in many aspects. So I’m very happy and proud to do my part by taking on the Director’s role in the GDPA”
