Former Formula One driver and former teammate of Kimi Raikkonen Mika Salo thinks that Sauber would be a perfect fit for the Ice Man right now, as rumours of a swap of seats with Charles Leclerc have emerged.
Raikkonen has said on several occasions that he'd like to retire at Ferrari, but his wish might not be respected, as a swap deal with Charles Leclerc's seat at Sauber could be on the cards.
The Finn made his debut in F1 at Sauber back in 2001, where he was teammates with fellow countryman Salo for a year.
"Kimi has a good relationship with Sauber and they fit together perfectly," Salo told Ilta Sanomat.
"Firstly, he lives near their headquarters in Switzerland, and it was his first team in F1."

The newspaper also reported that Raikkonen would get a percentage of shares in Alfa-Romeo Sauber, so he can help get the team to a higher level.
Do you think Raikkonen would be a good fit at Sauber? Or should he just retire if he gets replaced by Leclerc at Ferrari? He's certainly shown no signs of ageing this season, but who knows how long it will be until his age catches up with him.
