The first driver in the history of the sport to take his titles tally up to a record establishing mark of seven total, Michael Schumacher, was remembered with an endearing demostration at the Race of Champions, held in Sidney, Australia, at the Accor Stadium.
It was a fateful 29 December 2013 which saw Schumacher take a fall so severe that has since taken him away from the racing world that loved him so, and which still continues to do so.

An emotional message goes out to Schumacher

In between the top duels of the event that took place between 7 and 8 March, there was a moment to take a pause and reflect on the German's current situation and deliver him, his family and loves ones a message of defiance to his condition and of love.
A banner held by his son, former F1 driver, Mick Schumacher, and fellow German F1 champion, and confessed admirer, Sebastian Vettel, among others read: "Keep fighting Michael. We miss you."
