Mercedes recovers Barcelona strength and shines in Bahrain, Red Bull close behind

The German tops the charts in terms of the most laps at the Bahrain International Circuit this week with 432. This comes after Mercedes was praised for its stints in Barcelona, but they were towards the bottom of these standings the previous week in Sakhir. Moreover, teams with Mercedes engines were also consistent, as they recorded the highest average lap count among manufacturers.

Racing Bulls and Haas completed the top three behind Mercedes. Haas was the strongest in this regard among the Ferrari-powered outfits, while Ferrari was only ninth. Still, the Scuderia was the quickest this week.

Aston Martin and Honda once again had a difficult week in Bahrain. On Friday, Lance Stroll could only do six laps, and did not set a lap time. The Silverstone-based team completed a total of 128 laps over the past three days.
