Mercedes are thought to be bringing a new chassis to the German Grand Prix this weekend as they look to impress in front of their home crowd. It has passed it's crash test and will hope to further increase the performance of their package.
Having passed the crash test, the chassis is set to be used at this weekends race at Hockenheimring. Ferrari and Red Bull are thought to not have the same upgrades so it is looking likely to be another Mercedes domination.
The new chassis is not immediately visible to the eye but the car is rumoured to be a lot lighter, increasing the Mercedes power to weight ratio.
With this new upgrade, Lewis Hamilton will be set to continue his championship domination in front of his teams home crowd.
