Mick Schumacher is still waiting at Haas for his first point in Formula 1. Although the talented driver is therefore struggling at the American racing stable, Toto Wolff in an interview with RTL Deutschland not ruling out the possibility that Schumacher will race for Mercedes in the future.
As the son of Michael Schumacher, there was a lot of pressure on Schumacher's shoulders from the first Grand Prix. In his first season, however, the Haas car was not good enough to get into the points. This year, in some races, he seems to be able to do that, but he still can't get rid of the zero.
Wolff states in the interview that people should not judge Schumacher's performance too quickly. The Mercedes team boss believes that the driver has shown progression in recent months and that he will continue to grow in Formula 1. "I am convinced that he can do it," Wolff stressed.

Does Schumacher have a future at Mercedes?

Schumacher is not yet ready for a top team in the near future, but behind the scenes Ferrari seems to be hoping that the driver can make the switch to the Italian racing stable in a few seasons. Wolff doesn't rule out Schumacher stepping into Mercedes' car one day. "Why not?"
