Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has said that despite his team's upgrades for the Spanish Grand Prix they are still behind Ferrari and Mercedes and realistically will have to wait for Monaco for a chance of winning a race. Mercedes look very dominant this weekend but Red Bull will hope that they will be faster at the slower circuit in a few weeks time.
"The upgrade will bring us closer to the top. It will not be enough for a win yet. We'll save that for Monte Carlo." Verstappen said to auto-motor-und-sport.
Despite the Dutchman's honest review of the Red Bull upgrades, his teammate Pierre Gasly feels more confident in the car and will hope for a solid points performance on Sunday.
"I feel better in the car. We also changed some things in the car that help me. Baku has already shown my progress in the car. I hope it goes on like this. "The role model is Max Verstappen. "Max is very special in how he gets the most out of the package."
Red Bull will hope that they can perform well this weekend and try to bridge the gap between themselves and Ferrari.
