Mattia Binotto is hoping that the successful upgrades Ferrari have introduced after the summer break are effective at the Russian Grand Prix this weekend. The Italian team have won three races in a row and are hoping to add to that tally. The team boss is prepared for the variable weather at the race and will be prepared for an exciting weekend.
"After three wins in a row, we are curious to see if our updates also work in Russia, because it is again a different kind of circuit," Binotto revealed in his preview of the Russian GP.
"Sochi is characterized by long straights, a very cool background, and it will again not be easy to get everything out of the tires. The circuit requires a completely different aerodynamic setup and adjustment than Singapore. A car with a good balance will be a key factor there.
"The weather forecast indicates changing weather conditions, so it is important for us to be prepared for all scenarios," said Binotto.
Another wet Grand Prix would really spice up the championship and bring much excitement to the Russian Grand Prix.
