At the 2019 Ferrari car launch, Mattia Binotto said the new car is "not a revolution". He suggested the team have just built on the work completed last year as the Italian looks forward to his first race as team principal after replacing Maurizio Arrivabene.
"This car is a development of last year's car, it's not a revolution. We've tried to push the bar, try to be some extreme as we could," Binotto said at the Ferrari launch.
The Ferrari car was lifted through the floor after the crowd was shown historical footage. Joining Binotto on stage were drivers Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel.
Leclerc spoke of the opportunity he has to learn from four-time world champion Vettel. Vettel believes the team are on the right path as they continue to improve.
The Ferrari car features a narrower back and Binotto believes this is a key aspect for their 2019 title push.

"If you look at the details, we’ve tried to push hard, be innovative. If you look at the bodywork at the back, it’s very slim. It’s thanks to the entire job we’ve done. A lot of effort has been done. We like it," he added.
