Marko lashes out at Mercedes: "It's a team that does not seem to stop at anything"

With eleven races behind us, the Formula 1 season is officially at the halfway point. Mercedes entered the summer break as the championship leader, taking over from Red Bull Racing after two disastrous weekends for the Austrian team.
Red Bull Racing faces a challenge in the second half of the season. The team will have to replace the powerplant of both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez early on, as both suffered significant damage through no fault of their own.

Marko sees Red Bull strong at all circuits

However, Marko still sees plenty of opportunities in the races ahead, although Red Bull will need to use the Honda engines more sparingly than planned. "We are strong at all circuits now, there are no handicaps. We will try to keep the risk for the engine as low as possible," the Red Bull advisor said in conversation with Speedweek.
Red Bull have lost the lead in the championship through no fault of their own, and the 78-year-old man from Graz is not hiding his opinion of their rivals. "We have a very strong opponent in Hamilton, and with Mercedes a team that does not seem to stop at anything," said Marko.
