The Spanish Grand Prix had a spectacular finish with multiple incidents. Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko also shared his thoughts on what happened after the Safety Car restart in Barcelona.

After the restart, he first made contact with Leclerc, and then with George Russell. For the latter, he already received a 10-second penalty.
Reflecting on the incidents, Marko said: "He showed emotion and the battles were quite fierce," he began Motorsport Total.

What left Verstappen frustrated

The Austrian continued with saying that having the tyre decision was already key. "Verstappen's frustration over the hard tyre probably made the difference. They didn't realise the tyre would be so bad at warming up."

"Of course, there's a certain frustration, which also reflected in his driving style," he concluded.
