A filmmaker with a soft spot for Ronnie Peterson, Gilles Villeneuve, Mika Hakkinen and above all, Tazio Nuvolari and Ayrton Senna, is also a diehard Formula One fan since the age of 4 (mid-90's). An avid researcher of the past of Grand Prix Racing since before it was even named F1, and with a thirst for knowledge of the ins and outs of the actuality of the sport, as well as for the technical aspects that define it, is a member of GPblog since 2023, where he has put his love of racing to good use.
Max Verstappen is currently under investigation for his incident with George Russell in the latter stages of the race.
As Verstappen felt aggrieved by Russell pushing him off track into Turn 1, he was later instructed by Red Bull to let Russell through. The Dutchman, clearly angry let race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase have a piece of his mind.
Then as Verstappen seemed to slow to let Russell through into Turn 5, he sped up and his car did not steer until it hit Russell's Mercedes.
The Dutchman was handed a 10 second time penalty which demoted him from P5 to P10. However, the amount of penalty points he'll take on his license is still unknown.
