Kevin Magnussen is still annoyed with the stewards after his penalty in Russia cost him a P8 finish, in a decision called 'stupid' by his team boss Guenther Steiner.
Battling with Sergio Perez at the Sochi Autodrom, Magnussen ran wide at turn one and failed to go around all the bollards, leading to the Dane receiving the five second penalty, and it seems he still hasn't come to terms with the decision.
Magnussen explained in Japan to motorsport.com: "We have only been told one thing and I have not done what was mentioned as a reason for punishment.
"They said that if you go all the way to the left around the first element, you have to take the cones and get a punishment as soon as you don't. But I went over it [the curb stones].
"There is nowhere to be found in that case So I tried to go there and take them with me, and I lost a lot of time. I believe that the [judgment] was wrong and I think they know it themselves."
