McLaren recently announced that
Lando Norris' contract will be extended through 2025. Confidence is high at the British race stable, as CEO
Zak Brown and team boss
Andreas Seidl are also committing to the team for the long term.
This is confirmed by Seidl in conversation with, among others
Formula One Magazine, prior to the launch of the MCL36. He did not want to go into detail about the duration of the contracts, but said that Brown, as well as himself and his team, are tied to
McLaren for the long term.
McLaren has confidence in the future
With that, the team from Woking is clearly opting for stability. "It's about having everything in place to take the team back to the front," stated the McLaren team boss. According to him, the ongoing agreements underline "the belief and conviction that they can return to the top".
So for the time being, there is no uncertainty about the future of the team, including the drivers. Norris is fixed until the end of 2025 and
Daniel Ricciardo still has a current contract until 2023.
