Live | Formula 1 German Grand Prix FP1 - Who will be on top?

The first session of the weekend is about to begin and we will shortly have an idea of which teams will perform well at the German Grand Prix and who will not. Will it be more Mercedes dominance or will Ferrari and Red Bull surprise us all on Sunday?

Mercedes will be looking to match their performance last time out in Silverstone with another one-two finish and continue marching ahead of the rest of the field. A special livery marking 125 years of motorsport should help them realize their potential for creating history.

Ferrari will be desperate for their first win of the season and Sebastian Vettel will be hoping that his home fans spur him on as the battle between the two teammates continues to intensify. Charles Leclerc will hope for another podium finish and preparing for this all starts today.

Teams will use this practice session to learn about the track and what set up they think will work best on their cars.
