Lewis Hamilton has been for a jog across an Australian beach and has wished his fans an enjoyable weekend ahead of the Australian Grand Prix.
The F1 legend has struggled recently in an uncompetitive Mercedes car after dominating the sport for years. The 38-year-old Brit had to watch Max Verstappen begin his own era of success in an irresistible Red Bull car.
Despite seeing Red Bull Racing's victories this season, Hamilton does not want to give up. He does so in a rousing Instagram post. In the video's caption, he adds: "Some days I feel like stopping. When I start to feel this way I dig deep and remember I’m on a mission."
"Whether you realise it or not, you’re on a mission too. We’re all chasing something. Some dream or goal that will make us better people, make our lives more fulfilling, and make us proud of ourselves." These are wise words from the Brit who remembers for a moment that he is fighting for that one goal: that eighth title.
