Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian have once again been spotted together, with Formula 1 now set for another two-week break before returning to action in Canada. Formula 1 has only just returned from a lengthy one-month break in April, yet no sooner had the paddock arrived in Miami than the calendar already opened up another gap. Fans and teams alike will now have to wait another two weeks before the action resumes, with the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal set to host the fifth round of the season.
The seven-time world champion is coming off a frustrating weekend in Miami, with the first of Formula 1’s three visits to the United States this season delivering a far less convincing result than
Ferrari had hoped for, especially after the raft of upgrades introduced on the SF-26 in Florida. Hamilton could at least point to the damage sustained during his early-race battle with Franco Colapinto as a mitigating factor, with the contact costing him a significant amount of downforce and partially compromising the remainder of his race. The Briton eventually crossed the line in sixth place.
While waiting to see in what kind of form the British champion will return to a circuit where he has claimed seven victories - including his maiden Formula 1 win back in 2007 - Hamilton was spotted in New York hand in hand with the famous American media personality. The pair have attracted plenty of attention in recent weeks, further fuelling speculation surrounding their relationship.
Hamilton makes specific Ferrari request after rivals’ gains
The Brit believes Ferrari should take a closer look at the solutions adopted by their main rivals following the Miami Grand Prix weekend, with the seven-time world champion identifying the front wing as a potentially crucial area of development.
Speaking to GPblog among other media outlets, Hamilton explained that Mercedes, McLaren and Red Bull all appear to be running noticeably different front wing concepts compared to Ferrari, suggesting the Italian team must carefully analyse whether there is performance to unlock from that direction.
The Briton pointed out that the visual differences between Ferrari’s front wing and those used by rival teams are evident, while also hinting that the gains recently shown by Mercedes, McLaren and Red Bull could be linked, at least in part, to those aerodynamic solutions.
