Lewis Hamilton's current Ferrari phase is a long way away from being the fairy tale it set out to be earlier on in the year. However, hope does not dwindle that the Briton will get his season and his Ferrari tenure back on track. After the last two races where Hamilton failed to reach Q3, whilst Leclerc nabbed a P3 and a pole position, the Briton was
severe on himself calling himself useless.Speaking on the
F1 Nation podcast, F1TV analyst Jolyon Palmer stated that he believes in Ferrari's chances to take home a win this season.
'Ferrari are on the rise, Hamilton only needs to adjust two key details'
Why? According to the former F1 driver, the Scuderia are on the rise.
"They're certainly on an upturn," Palmer began.
"Since bringing the suspension upgrades, the floor upgrades, you can see the performance is getting there.
Whilst he does admit that Hamilton's teammate
Charles Leclerc has been the man most in form in the Scarlet team.
"Charles is able to get quite a lot out of it now, get back towards the podium."
Nevertheless, when speaking about Hamilton, Palmer believes that he can be a part of the upturn as well by adjusting two details of his performance.
"Lewis needs to just get a rhythm back and find some form.
I think he's been a bit unlucky and a bit not executing at the right time. But I believe [Ferrari can win this season]."
