Leclerc: "It was a good lesson for both of us and it won't happen again"

When Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel clashed at the Brazilian Grand Prix it looked as if their relationship might be beyond repair. However, the Monegasque has insisted the pair are mature enough to leave it on the track.

Leclerc and Vettel collided when the German was trying to take back his place in the closing stages of the race at Interlagos. The collision forced both drivers to retire from the race adding to the tension between the pair.

The Ferrari pair are set to go into the 2020 season on a level playing field. Leclerc believes they are mature enough to leave what happens on the track there and insists there won't be a repeat of Interlagos.

"We are extremely competitive and sometimes on track, we might have some frictions," Leclerc said in an interview with Autosport.
